General   Can you give me directions to Paco Designs?   See http://www.pacodesigns.com/s/directions.cfm   Can I have a new strand added to my name bracelet? A new baby is on the way!   Return existing bracelet to us at Paco Designs, 14306 W 99th St, Lenexa, KS 66215. Insure if mailing. Existing strand(s) must be rewired through connector bars and attached to clasp. COSTS: $9.00 to rewire existing first strand. Rewiring 2 strands is $16, 3 strands is $23, and rewiring 4 strands is $29. $50.00 for each new strand. $5.00 for cleaning existing bracelet if desired. Include $5.95 for return shipping to you. List the names of your children in birth order as many bracelets can be flipped over to show a different name at top, (as in multiple strand bracelets). Kansas residents, please include 7.525% KS tax. Allow about 3 weeks for return to you once we have received your bracelet. Christmas and Mothers Day seasons are the busiest times for us, slowing down repair work, so beat these seasons if you can!   What if an item needs repair or size change?   On items other than custom made, return within 30 days for repair, exchange or credit. If custom made bracelet we charge $9 to restring a one strand bracelet. 2 strands cost $16 to rewire, 3 strands $23, and 4 strands $29. Include $6.95 for return shipping to you. $5 if cleaning is desired. $6 for new clasps. Allow about 3 weeks for return to you once we have received. Much depends on the time of year, as Christmas and Mothers Day seasons will be slower than other times of year.   If someone other than your company made my bracelet, will you repair or add a strand to it?   Yes, see costs above. You will love our work!   How do you ship?   We ship primarily via insured and traceable UPS. If you wish an item mailed to a post office box we then use Priority Mail.   What are shipping rates?   Unless a very large and bulky item, in which case we would contact you, Shipping and Handling charges are: 0 to $25, $4.95; 26 to $50-$5.95; 51 to $100- $6.95; 101 to $150-$7.95; 151 to $250-$9.95; 251 to $500-$12.95; 501 to $1000-$14.95   Can you ship to several recipients on one order?   Yes! Within one order, you can designate different recipients and addresses.   Will you gift wrap?   Gold sealed gift boxes are just an additional $1 and will fit most jewelry items. There is no charge for gift enclosure card.   When can I expect delivery of my order?   If not custom made, much of our merchandise is in stock and will be shipped within a few business days. Monogram items are shipped about 2 weeks after receipt of order. Custom made items are normally shipped about 10 days to 2 weeks after receipt of order.   How can I request expedited shipping?   If you request a rush and your order necessitates 2nd day air delivery, cost is $14.95. Overnignt UPS cost is $30. It is best to phone rather than email so we will not miss your request. At our busiest times of the year, Christmas and Mothers Day, we cannot make all custom made orders at the last minute. We urge you to place your orders early in the season to avoid expensive shipping and expediting charges.   How should I care for my sterling and beaded jewelry?   Do not use "wet jewelry cleaners" on your jewelry. These can strip the lettering and damage the antique beads! The damage from wet jewelry cleaners can be permanent to your bracelets and other jewelry! Use a silver polishing cloth that is available from us https://www.pacodesigns.com/catalog/cat_details.asp?PN=SHINE or purchase elsewhere. Do not spray perfume on your jewelry as the alcohol will discolor and spot sterling silver. We tell our customers about fine sterling flatware and table services that spots black if salt is left on it, so we advise not to wear if you are perspiring on the tennis court! As the beads in beaded metal jewelry is hollow it is best to avoid wearing in the bath. Most of our customers can wear their jewelry for many years without requiring repair.   What materials are used in your beaded custom jewelry?   For beading, we use a high tech 49 strand multi filament wire coated in nylon that is very strong yet flexible. Our beads, clasps, charms and other jewelry components are made from: .925 sterling silver, 14K solid gold, or 14K gold filled.   What size bracelet should I order?   Ideally the wrist should be measured with a soft tape measure held closely without slack at the smallest part of wrist. You should then order 1 inch larger bracelet than wrist measures. Our bracelets need room for maneuvering the clasp and the beads themselves take up space. The bracelets should be worn falling down a bit on the hand and not tight like a watch. Wearing the bracelet too close causes stress on the wire and clasp. Some examples: 6” wrist needs a 7” bracelet; 6 1/4” a 7 1/4” bracelet, etc. We make as large as 8 1/2”. 7 1/4” is our standard and most ordered size. If you are surprising a gift recipient, you will need to judge if the person is larger or smaller boned. We make bracelets every ¼”. Over 8 ½” add $5.   What is gold filled?   Gold-filled places a layer of real 14k gold over copper or brass. For example, on a gold-filled ring, the gold-fill might wear off the inside of the ring shank after 3 years of constant wear, but remain on the outside of the ring for many, many years after that. In any case, gold-filled is a much more durable product than gold-plate or vermeil. Gold-filled jewelry is economical, and enjoys the rich look of gold at a fraction of the cost. Denominations of $50, 100, 150, 200, and $250 are available at http://www.pacodesigns.com/giftcertificate   What type of payment do you accept online?   We accept Visa, Master Card, and Amex.   I ordered 10 days ago and my credit card still hasn't been charged. What has happened?   We do not process your credit card until we are ready to ship. Your item is probably a custom made piece and is not ready or the item ordered is backordered.   Is it safe to order online at Paco Designs?   Yes. It is safer to use your credit card on our site than at a mall. Our site is equipped with Secure Socket Layer technology. When you access Paco Designs, the personal data you send us (name, address, phone number, credit card information, etc.) is encrypted for your protection during the transmission process and can only be decoded by Paco Designs.   Do you sell or trade customer information?   We have never sold or traded our customer information and will not do so in the future.   Can I ship to multiple addresses within one order?   Use our multiple ship-to capability to send gifts to different addresses, whether you're sending the same gift to everybody or different gifts to each address.
